For over a decade, Extractiva, Inc. has created and refined e-discovery tools to make e-discovery processing easier, simpler, and as enjoyable as possible. Made by people who have done e-discovery and understand that it may sometimes be demanding on the e-discovery staff, and by working closely with our clients and responding to their feedback and requests, Extractiva does whatever it reasonably can to make e-discovery easier on the producers and consumers of e-discovery work.

1999
Extractiva was founded in 1999 as Mobious Solutions, Inc. to provide technology-based litigation support consulting services. At that time, vendors provided e-discovery services using a variety of ad-hoc tools.
The HardCopy Pro Plus product pioneered the concept of an integrated e-discovery solution—it was the very first commercially available e-discovery software in the world that vendors and corporations could actually purchase and use in-house.
2004
The company changed its name to Extractiva in 2004.
2009
With new funding and development resources, PiranhaDox was designed to meet next generation e-discovery processing demands, with the requirement to put sophisticated e-discovery engines under an easy-to-use interface, and the potential to leapfrog existing e-discovery tools and methods.
